QuoteGuard Privacy Policy

1 Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Contractor bid images and documents — Photos or PDF files of contractor estimates that you upload for analysis. These are transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing and are not permanently stored by QuoteGuard.
• Subscription information — When you subscribe to QuoteGuard Pro, payment and subscription details are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information.

Information Collected Automatically

• Analysis history — Results from your bid analyses (contractor name, project description, bid total, fairness score, date) are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data does not leave your device unless you choose to share it.
• Subscription status — QuoteGuard checks your active subscription entitlements through RevenueCat to determine which features to unlock. This involves a device identifier and purchase receipt, managed by RevenueCat.
• Onboarding status — A simple flag indicating whether you have completed the app's onboarding flow is stored locally on your device.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or personal contact information
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Device contacts, calendar, or any other personal data unrelated to the app's function
• Any data from your contractor bid documents beyond what is returned in the AI analysis

2 How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information collected solely to provide and improve the QuoteGuard service:

• Bid analysis — Transmitting your uploaded images or PDFs to Anthropic's Claude AI API to generate fairness scores, red flag reports, and negotiation guidance.
• Local history — Saving analysis results on your device so you can review past bids.
• Subscription management — Verifying your QuoteGuard Pro subscription status to enable or restrict premium features.
• App functionality — Remembering your onboarding completion to show the appropriate screen on app launch.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral tracking, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of QuoteGuard.

3 Data Storage

All analysis history is stored locally on your device using React Native AsyncStorage. This data is:

• Never uploaded to QuoteGuard servers
• Accessible only to you on your device
• Deleted when you uninstall the app or manually delete individual records within the app

Subscription entitlement data is managed by RevenueCat and Apple and is subject to their respective data storage practices.

QuoteGuard relies on the following third-party services to deliver its core functionality:

5 Subscriptions

QuoteGuard offers an optional Pro subscription ("QuoteGuard Pro") that unlocks premium features including full red flag reports, negotiation scripts, and detailed price breakdowns.

• Billing — Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and governed by Apple's subscription terms.
• Auto-renewal — Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation — You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Access to Pro features continues until the end of the paid period.
• Restore Purchases — You may restore a previous subscription purchase at any time using the "Restore Purchase" option in the app's paywall screen.
• Refunds — Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

QuoteGuard does not retain your billing details. All subscription management data is handled by Apple and RevenueCat.

6 Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide you with the QuoteGuard service:

• Bid images / documents — Not retained. Discarded immediately after Anthropic returns the analysis result.
• Analysis history — Stored locally on your device until you delete individual records within the app or uninstall the app.
• Subscription data — Managed by RevenueCat and Apple subject to their retention policies.

Because QuoteGuard does not maintain user accounts or server-side storage, there is no personal data held by Disabled Adventures LLC to request deletion of. All locally stored data can be removed by uninstalling the app.

7 Data Sharing and Disclosure

Disabled Adventures LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Data is shared only as follows:

• Anthropic — Bid document content is sent for analysis as described above.
• RevenueCat — Device identifiers and purchase receipts are shared to verify subscription status.
• Apple — Payment and subscription management as required by the App Store platform.
• Legal compliance — We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

No personal data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms.

8 Children's Privacy

QuoteGuard is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email address below and we will take steps to remove that information.

QuoteGuard is designed for adult homeowners evaluating contractor bids and is not appropriate for use by minors.

9 Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect the information processed through QuoteGuard:

• All communications with Anthropic's API and RevenueCat are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Bid documents are transmitted directly to Anthropic's API and are never cached on intermediate servers controlled by Disabled Adventures LLC.
• Analysis results stored on your device are protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10 Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — You can view all analysis history stored on your device directly within the app's History screen.
• Deletion — You can delete individual analysis records within the app or remove all locally stored data by uninstalling QuoteGuard.
• Portability — Analysis results are stored in a readable format on your device.
• Opt-out — You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

11 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page

• Notify users through an in-app notice where required by law

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of QuoteGuard after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
